UP10

Universal Preamplifier 10 (UP10) is designed for high-speed operation with Guzik RWA 2000 series. UP10 allows the RWA2000 series to achieve the maximum data rate 4 Gbit/sec and beyond. UP10 will support the future generations of test equipment and head amplifiers with higher data rates.

MR7

Guzik MR7 amplifier is designed for high-speed operation with RWA-2000 series. Compared with MR5 head amplifier, it has much wider bandwidth of write and read channels and significantly faster rise/fall time of write current. As a result, the MR7 can operate with data speed up to 4 Gbit/sec.

UP8

Universal Preamplifier 8 can achieve a maximum data rate 2Gbit/s and 1.8GHz analog bandwidth only with 2002, 2003, and 2004 RWA models. At the same time, this preamplifier is able to operate with previous generation of Guzik analyzers such as RWA2585. UP8 integrates with Guzik MR-head amplifiers and commercial head amplifiers compatible with the new HLM-2F, HLM-3F, and HLM-V2002 Guzik head loaders. An upgrade kit is available for S1701A, S1701A+, and S1701B spinstands.

Read/Write MR Amplifier Revision 5

MR Amplifier Revision 5 is a next generation of Guzik head amplifiers, designed specially for RWA 2000 series and new Guzik head loaders. The amplifier has 2Gbit/sec write data speed, 300psec rise/fall time of write current, programmable overshoot of the write current up to 100%, 1.3GHz bandwidth of the read amplifier, and write to read recovery time less than 200nsec.

MR-5L Current-Sense Low-Impedance Read Amplifier for TMR Heads

The Guzik MR-5L read amplifier is designed to work with the high-impedance TMR heads. The impedance of such heads can be as high as 1000Ohm, so it is impossible to achieve a high bandwidth with a high-impedance amplifier. This is the reason, why MR-5L is a current-sense low-impedance amplifier with voltage bias. The MR-5L also incorporates a heater driver and supports connection to a microactuator on a head suspension in order to perform the mechanical and electrical tests of the microactuator.

Active Head Amplifier Injector for V2002

A new Guzik Head Amplifier Active Injector has bandwidth from DC to 6 GHz and provides a differential output signal with high symmetry of frequency response and group delay. This signal injector is required for frequency response measurements of high bandwidth analog front end integrated in the Guzik test system.
