The Adjacent Track Interference (WATI)
test evaluates the effect of multiple writing of a track onto
the neighboring tracks. The test measures the change of TAA,
SNR, and BER values after writing the adjacent tracks.
WATI Test Results
Hardware and Software Requirements:
- Guzik RWA-2000, RWA-2585, or RWA-2550 series upgraded for WATI Test
- Guzik Spinstand S1701B, or Guzik Spinstand V2002 upgraded for WATI Test
- WITE32 Revision 3.11 or later
- WATI Test Module license
