Note: WITE version 1.61 will be the last version of WITE to support the RWA301 and RWA501. Future versions of WITE will support only the RWA1001 and newer.

Changes from WITE 1.6 to WITE 1.61

This document contains the release notes for WITE revision 1.61 from Guzik Technical Enterprises. WITE 1.61 is a maintenance release which fixes the following bugs:

• Spinstand alignment for 312MP spinstands equipped with a Coldfire processor did not work correctly under WITE 1.6. Alignment works properly for all Guzik spinstands under WITE 1.61.



• The MR impedance pre-test screening procedure in WITE 1.5 and 1.6 was incompatible with some head stacks. The MR impedance procedure in WITE 1.6 is compatible with all known head stacks.



• The pattern compiler did not function properly in WITE 1.6. The WITE 1.61 pattern compiler functions correctly.
