WITE32
Version 2.35
10/25/99
Introduction
The 2.35 release addresses the bugs found in the WITE32 2.34 release
and new features introduced after the WITE32 2.34 release. (This document
uses the WITE32 2.34 release notes as a base line for comparison.)
Modifications:
The integral "Parametric" test outputs the PW50 result in both nanoseconds
and microinches.
Test "MR transfer curve" outputs the coefficients of the approximation.
A new option "Abort immediately" has been added to the Production
setup ("On runtime Failure" on the Grd/Norm tab). If selected the
option causes the entire production to stop after the test running
after the failed one.
A new option "Output Result When Tests Failed" has been added to
the Production setup (on the Head S/N tab). If enabled the option
causes the result of the MR Impedance test and the Head selection
test to be sent out. The result names are:
MrImp for MR Impedance test
HdSel for Head Selection test
The possible values are:
0 - failure,
1 - success.
The WITE32 normalization subsystem has been modified so that it
imports the data from the Wnorm.cnf file at the beginning of each
Production run if the Wnorm.cnf file has been modified. It provides
for a means of correcting the normalization coefficients outside WITE32.
Head Polarity test algorithm has been improved to provide for more
robust polarity detection.
Fixed Bugs
The following bugs have been fixed:
If the same grade is used for both final grading and runtime grading
and there are tests which fail the limits, the grading record appears
twice in the final display. NOW: The duplicate record is
removed from the grading display.
